Best ghee recipes for kids’ healthy growth

Ingredients:

  • Mango (diced/ sliced)
  • Ghee 
  • Boiled rice

Procedure:

  • Blend the mango into a thick puree
  • Add ghee into the puree and mix well
  • Pour this mix onto boiled rice
  • Mix together for a gooey sticky rice effect that will be easy to chew

Sooji Kheer

This kheer is sweet and healthy and can easily become your child’s favourite.

Ingredients:

  • Sooji
  • Ghee
  • Milk
  • Sugar

Procedure:

  • In a pan roast Sooji with ghee until golden brown
  • Add milk to the pan and let it boil
  • Add sugar to the mix and serve warm

For younger babies, you can add formula or breast milk to make it creamier. 

Three veggie puree

If you want your child to have the goodness of veggies without them having to eat it in a solid form, you should follow this ghee recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes
  • Beans
  • Peas
  • Ghee
  • Salt

Procedure:

  • Dice potatoes and beans. Clean and chop beans into small pieces. 
  • In a vessel, boil water and add the chopped veggies 
  • Cook until they are soft and blend them into a puree. 
  • Add ghee and a pinch of salt to the mix and you’re ready
